InterMail triples its profit in the first half of the year
Corona has given further impetus to efficiency and digitization in listed InterMail, which, despite falling revenue in the first half of the year, triples the result and improves ebitda by 11 per cent.
“It’s a fantastic feeling, and I’m proud that our strategy is working and bearing fruit. We emphasize this with these strong results created by our skilled employees. But it doesn’t stop here, it will continue for years to come. It’s the first time I dare to say that,” says CEO of InterMail Anders Ertmann. Adm. Director Anders Ertmann: We are a healthy business now – we are looking for massive growth in the coming years
The next step is to double the turnover in 2023 to over DKK 200 million. DKK from expected DKK 105-120 million. DKK this year. Half of the growth must come from acquisitions, the other half from organic growth. InterMail started the acquisition hunt in September last year with the purchase of the consulting company Response Optimizer. Further acquisitions are expected this year.
“We can finally look forward. Today, we have a cleaner business, where we can accelerate digital growth and get deeper into the customers rather than spread out too much. We have focused on the core business, and then we have learned to say no to tasks that do not make us money. In three years, we will be the largest in data-driven communication,” says Anders Ertmann.
InterMail’s main business today consists of building data-driven communication solutions for customers such as YouSee, SAS, Falck, Santander Consumer Bank and Bonnier in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
